Antique World Map by John Bartholomew from the 1890’s. The map is broken down into 4 smaller maps, Prevailing winds, ocean currents, mean annual rainfall and climate chart.

The map was done by the Edinburgh Geographical Institute and John  Bartholomew & Co. Originally from a larger Century atlas published by John Walker and Co in London. The Walker publication of these maps is referenced as being released circa 1890 to 1892. There is an Astronomical map on the reverse.

The map is in good overall condition and is suitable for framing, paper will show ageing and foxing with crease marks at edge, please see pictures.

The map’s paper area is 14 1/2 inches by 12 inches with the map area 12 inches by 9 inches.
