St Michael’s Mount, Cornwall, antique Victorian print, an engraving from circa 1880 after the original painting by Clarkson Stanfield.
Clarkson Frederick Stanfield RA RBA ( 1793 – 1867) was a prominent English marine painter.
The print is part of a set of engraving that where commisioned to show works that had been exhibited at the National Gallery, Royal Academy and where printed by the London Print and Publishing Company around 1880.
The overall paper size of the print is 11 by 8 inches with the engraving excluding title measuring 6 by 4 1/2 inches.
The print is in very good condition, paper will show ageing and some foxing away from print area.
