Spotted Skipper 1876 antique print with hand colouring. Originally published as part of the History of British Butterflies in 1876 by Rev F O Morris. Morris was well known for his excellent prints from the world of natural history with his works on birds and butterflies being particularly sought after.

The paper area of measures 10 by 6 inches, prints of the butterfly in its various stages vary in size.

Condition wise the print is in very good condition for age, paper will show ageing toning and marks, please see pictures.
