South Polar Region Map 1922 Vintage

Large vintage map from 1922 titled South Polar Region. The map shows the South Pole, mapping pack ice from the time also.

The map was done under the direction J. G. Bartholomew and was originally published as part the survey atlas done by the Times in 1922.

The map is large 58 cm’s by 45 cm’s and is suitable for framing. Condition wise, map is in  good condition for age and intact, paper will show signs of ageing, map was released as a fold out map , so fold line present, ageing at line and some spots of foxing at top, please see pictures.
