The engraving where compiled for The Senator; or, Clarendon’s Parliamentary Chronicle. A Set of engravings of members of parliament, published as Engraved for the Senator circa 1792.
Paper measures 22 by 14 cm, plate mark area is 14 by 9 cm’s with the actual engraving 4 1/2 by 5 1/2 cm’s.
The actual engraving is in very good condition for age, paper has light foxing & creasing, some black speckling from paper, but generally good, bumped edges, paper loss at bottom corner below plate mark circa 1 inch, which can be hidden when mounting, please see pictures.
