Original 1925 vintage botanical print titled Saxifragaceae (Escallonioideae) (A) Hamamelidaceae (B.C.) Connaraceae (D) Plate 9 by Rudolph Marloth. The print was published as part of a set on the flora of South Africa. Print size is 11 by 8 inches.

Rudolf Marloth (1855 – 1931) was a German-born South African botanist, pharmacist and analytical chemist, best known for his work on the Flora of South Africa which where published between 1913 and 1932. The set of prints we have where the group published in 1925 by Darter Bros & Co in Cape Town South Africa.

Print is in excellent condition having being behind a tissue guard since publication, paper will have light ageing commensurate with age, please see pictures.
