A  vintage colour intaglio print done by Mourlot in 1944  titled “L’artisan tire le diable par la queue ” after the original from circa 1800.

This print was hand coloured at Establishment Beaufumé making it all the more desirable.

The print was published in 1944 as part of a set Mourlot did for a publication on Paris.

Condition wise the print area is still very vibrant with the colours very strong, some spots of foxing mainly at top, please see pictures.

Prints area is 10 1/2 by 7 inches with an overall size of 12 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches.
