A  vintage French art print,  colour intaglio  done by Mourlot in 1944 after the original print from circa 1835 titled La Demande En Mariage.

This print was hand coloured at Establishment Beaufumé .

The print was published in 1944 as part of a set Mourlot did for a publication on Paris.

Condition wise the print  is still very vibrant with the colours very strong, there is light spots of foxing on margins , please see pictures.

Prints area is 7 1/2  by 5 1/2 inches and it has been mounted in a double mount of Antique White and Gold. The mount is 12 by 10 inches and will fit in a frame of that size.
