1797  antique print a copper plate engraving of Gray Abbey, County Down, Ireland. The Abbey is said to have been founded in the 12th century by John de Courcy’s wife, Affreca.

The engraving is dated as printed by S Hooper in Holborn, London in 1792 , however this work was not actually published until 1797.

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 7 inches by 5 inches. The overall paper size is 12 1/2 by 9 inches.

The engraving is in  good condition, there is age related foxing and toning mainly on the paper, please see pictures.
