Antique print, hand coloured from the 1840’s after William Jardine. It is titled, Felis Maniculata, the Egyptian hunting cat.

The print was published as part of the Naturalist Library in Germany by Hartleben of Pesth and Leipzig.

The prints are approximately 11 by 17 cm’s.

The prints are in good condition, paper will show ageing with bumping and marks, mainly at edges, pencil note from previous owner at title.

    1797 antique copper plate engraving of a Southern view of Selkser Abbey in County Wexford. Selkser Abbey is a 12th century Abbey and Augistinian House in Wexford. The engraving is signed in the plate Barrett. The engraving was published by S Hooper in Holborn, London in 1794 , however these works where not actually published until 1797. The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 6 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The overall paper size is 13 by 9 inches. The engraving and the impressed area are in good condition, allowing a good margin for mounting and framing, there is age related foxing and darkening to the paper edges, there is please see pictures.
