The print a copper plate engraving was originally published as part of a set by Francis Grose. The prints in the set where published in 1791 and 1792. This set was purchased in London in 1801 and transferred to another owner in the same family Hays, in 1831 in Boston.
The engraving was published by S Hooper No 212 High Holborn, London .
The engravings have an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 7 inches by 5 inches. The overall paper size is 13 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches.
Dalkey Castle is in very good condition, small spots of foxing, Bullock Castle is in fair condition with heavier foxing, paper will show ageing and bumping, please see pictures.
