1797  antique print a copper plate engraving of Carlingford Abbey, County Louth, Ireland. The abbey was founded by the Dominican order in 1305

The engraving is dated as printed by M Hooper in Holborn, London in 1793 , however this work was not actually published until 1797.

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 7 inches by 5 inches. The overall paper size is 12 1/2 by 9 inches.

The engraving is in  good condition, there is age related foxing and toning mainly on the paper, line through g in Carlingford from printing, please see pictures.
