Antique botanical print titled Bladder Campion by F E Hulme. The print was published circa 1895, this set of prints are referenced as being produced between 1885 and 1895.

The print was done by F E Hulme as part of larger set for his works on Wildflowers for which he is particularly well known. The works where published by Cassell and Company.

Frederick Edward Hulme (1841 – 1909) was known as a teacher and an amateur botanist. He was the Professor of Freehand and Geometrical Drawing at King’s College London from 1886.

The overall size of the paper is 7 by 5 inches with the print area being 6 by 4 inches approximately.

The print is in very good condition for it’s age with vibrant colours, small mark on paper, due to it’s age paper will show ageing and toning, please see pictures.
