After a painting by H Melville and engraved by J Rodgers 1800-1882.

There is a verse of a Robert Burns poem underneath.

They where published by George Virtue in 1840.
Paper size is 10 1/2 inches by 8 inches with the actual engraving 6 by 4 1 1/2 inches.
Engraving are in good condition, paper has age related foxing and staining, please see pictures.
