Antique Victorian print, an engraving published in 1840 after a painting by Miss L Sharpe titled The Soldiers Bride. The work was engraved by Charles Heath. Charles Theodosius Heath (1 March 1785 – 18 November 1848) was an English engraver, currency and stamp printer, book publisher and illustrator.

This print was part of a larger set published by R A Charlton and printed by W Sears in London.

The overall paper size is 10 by 8 inches with the print approximately 4 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. Good quality printing with the print sitting in an impressed area on the paper.

Print is in very good condition, paper has ageing and foxing present.
