1792 Antique Print of Drumcondra Church in Dublin. Unusual and rare print dedicated to James Gandon, Samuel Walker, Horace Hone and Rich EDW Mercer to mark their attendance at funeral of Grose in Dublin on the 18th May 1791, the print was inscribed by Samuel Hooper. The figure in the image is noted on the print to Francis Grose looking at his own grave.

The print a copper plate engraving was originally published as part of a set by Francis Grose. The prints in the set where published in 1791 and 1792. This set was purchased in London in 1801 and transferred to another owner in the same family Hays, in 1831 in Boston.

The engraving was published by S Hooper No 212 High Holborn, London .

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 9 by 6 1/2  inches with the engraving measuring 8 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The overall paper size is 13 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches.

The engraving is in good condition, paper will show ageing and bumping, some foxing on paper and print, please see pictures.
