A beautiful vintage colour Intaglio print done by Mourlot in 1944 after the original print from circa 1800 titled “Trompette du 9th Regiment de Dragons ”
This print was hand coloured at Establishment Beaufumé making it all the more desirable.
The print was published in 1944 as part of a set Mourlot did for a publication on Paris.
Condition wise the print area is still very vibrant with the colours very strong, the print has spots of foxing, please see pictures.
Prints area is 11 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches with an overall size of 12 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches.
