Antique print circa 1840, a steel engraving of the Killeries in County Galway. The print was engraved by J Hinchcliff and is after a drawing by W Evans.
This print was referenced originally when published as being County Mayo and is thought to be the entry into Killery Harbour.
The print was done as part of a larger set of maps and prints circa 1845 printed by Hall and Virtue in London for Ireland’s Scenery and Characters.
The engraving is 6 by 4 inches and is mounted in off white and will fit a 12 by 10 inch frame.
The engraving is in good overall condition for age, small spots of foxing, please see pictures.
