1797 antique print a copperplate engraving of Strancally Castle in County Laois, Ireland. The castle dates from the 15th century. On the print it is referred to as Strancally , Queens County, the old name for County Laois.

The engraving is dated as published by S Hooper in Holborn, London in 1791 , however this work where not actually published until 1797.

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 6 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The overall paper size is 13 by 9 inches.

The engraving is in  good condition,  there is age related foxing and toning on the paper,  please see pictures.
