1797 antique print a copperplate engraving of the South West view of Dunamase Castle, County Laois, Ireland. At the time the print was done it was noted as Queens Co on the print, Queens County is the old name for County Laois.
The engraving is dated as published by M Hooper in Holborn, London in 1794 , however this work where not actually published until 1797.
The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 6 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The overall paper size is 13 by 9 inches.
The engraving is in good condition, there is age related foxing and toning to paper, couple of spots on print, please see pictures.
