Rievaulx Abbey was a Cistercian abbey in Rievaulx, situated near Helmsley in the North York Moors National Park, North Yorkshire, England.

The print is part of a set of engraving that where commissioned to show works that had been exhibited at the National Gallery, Royal Academy and where printed by the London Print and Publishing Company around 1880.

The overall paper size of the print is 11 by 8 inches with the engraving excluding title measuring 6 by 4 inches.

The print is in very good condition, paper will show ageing and some light foxing away from print area.
