Paul Wood was an American artist who was known for his watercolours and etchings of animals especially hunting dogs.

The Paris Etching Society published prints by artists between 1930 and 1950. Despite it’s name it was based in the US, set up originally by an art dealer called Sydney Lucas. Lucas would travel to France and commission artists to do works which would then be released in the US.
