Antique print an engraving of Baronet the famous racehorse of the Prince of Wales after a drawing by George Stubbs.

Stubbs (1724-1806) was an English painter, highly regarded, particularly for his painting and prints of horses.

This engraving is from circa 1850 and was originally published for The Complete Farrier and British Sportsmen. It was published by Thomas Kelly of Paternoster Row and was printed by William Clowes and Sons of Stanford Street.

The print is 5 by 7 inches with the paper area being 8 by 10 inches approximately. The print itself is in very good condition for age, paper area will have foxing and tanning mainly at edges.

Highly sought after and collectable print.
