David Cox (29 April 1783 – 7 June 1859) was an English landscape painter, one of the most important members of the Birmingham School of landscape artists.

The print is part of a set of engraving that where commissioned to show works that had been exhibited at the National Gallery, Royal Academy and where printed by the London Print and Publishing Company around 1880.

The overall paper size of the print is 11 by 8 inches with the engraving excluding title measuring 6 by 4 1/2 inches.

The print is in very good condition, paper will show ageing and some foxing away from print area.
