A 1866 antique print an etching after John Leech, hand coloured. These rare prints where released in 1866, they are from an amalgamation of works done as front pieces for Punch’s Pocket books between 1844 and 1864.
This particular print was originally released in Punch in 1845 and is titled ” Farming for Ladies”.
The etching is in excellent condition, very vibrant colours still. The paper has some sign of aging but is in good overall condition. Please see pictures.
The print has been double mounted and will fit into a standard 10 by 12 inch frame. The actual print area measures 8 1/2 by 5 inches.
