1797  antique print a copper plate engraving of Clare Abbey, County Clare, Ireland. The abbey is said to have been founded in 1189.

The engraving is dated as printed by M Hooper in Holborn, London in 1794 , however this work was not actually published until 1797. The engraver is listed as E W Thomson.

The prints are part of a larger set on Ireland, published by Hooper & Wigstead in London.

Print is in very good condition for age, paper area will show ageing.

Print area is 7 by 5 inches, paper area 10 1/2 by 8 inches.
