1850 antique print a steel engraving of Belfast in County Antrim. The print was engraved by J Hinchcliffe and is after a drawing by A Nicholl. Andrew Nicholl RHA ( 1804 – 1886) was an Irish painter. He was a founding member of the Belfast Association of Artists.
These set of prints are referenced as being produced from 1846 to 1850 and where published by Hall and Virtue in London.
The engraving is 6 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches and is double mounted in Antique White and white, it will fit into a standard A4 frame ( which measures 21.0 x 29.7cm or 8.27 x 11.69 inches)
The engraving is in good overall condition for age, paper will show ageing and light foxing, mainly at top of page, please see pictures.
