An 1854 steel engraving titled “Charles Marquis Cornwallis”

Engraving size is 13 by 10 cm’s

Paper size is approximately 18 by 27 cm’s

The engravings where done by William Holl 1807-1871 which is printed on the plate.

The engraving where done in 1854 for the history of Ireland.  Charles Marquis Cornwallis in 1798 he was appointed Lord Lieutenant and Commander-in-chief of Ireland, where he oversaw the response to the 1798 Irish Rebellion, including a French invasion of Ireland.
