1797 antique print a copperplate engraving of Aghaboe Abbey in County Laois, Ireland. The abbey was founded by St Canice in the 6th century. On the print it is referred to as Aghaboe Abbey, Queens County, the old name for County Laois.

The engraving is dated as published by S Hooper in Holborn, London in 1793 , however this work where not actually published until 1797.

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 6 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The overall paper size is 13 by 9 inches.

The engraving is in  very good condition, there is age related foxing and toning on the paper,  please see pictures.
