1797  antique print a copper plate engraving of the Abbey of Cong, County Mayo, Ireland. The ruins of the abbey date from the 13th century with a structure on the site from the 7th century.

The engraving is dated as printed by S Hooper in Holborn, London in 1794 , however this work was not actually published until 1797.

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 7 inches by 5 inches. The overall paper size is 12 1/2 by 9 inches.

The engraving is in  good condition, there is age related foxing and toning mainly on the paper, please see pictures.
