1797  antique print a copper plate engraving of the Abbey of Castledermot, County Kildare, Ireland. The Abbey is said to have been founded in the year 1300. This print is titled PL1 (for plate 1) by the artist.

The engraving is dated as printed by S Hooper in Holborn, London in 1793 , however this work was not actually published until 1797.

The engraving is in an impressed area size of 8 by 6 inches with the engraving measuring 7 inches by 5 inches. The overall paper size is 12 1/2 by 9 inches.

The engraving is in  good condition, there is age related foxing and toning mainly on the paper, please see pictures.
