Philip Yorke, 1st Earl of Hardwicke PC (1 December 1690 – 6 March 1764) was an English lawyer and politician who served as Lord Chancellor.
He was also responsible for the marriage act of 1753, which was the first piece of legislation that required a ceremony of marriage.
The paper has some foxing mainly at edges, the etching is clear.
