An 1854 steel engraving Charles Pratt First Earl Camden.
Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden ( 1714 – 1794) was an English lawyer, judge and Whig politician who was first to hold the title of Earl Camden. He founded Camden Town in London and was a major critic of the taxes that brought about the Boston Tea Party in 1744.

The engravings where done from drawing by Henry Warren expressly for the printing.
Henry Warren 1794-1879 was President of the New Watercolour Society the medium he mainly worked in. He was a pupil of Joseph Nollekens 1737-1823.
The engraving was done by Henry Robinson
John Henry Robinson
He was born at Bolton, Lancashire and was brought up in Staffordshire. At the age of 18 he became a pupil of James Heath, for about two years.
Robinson was one of the nine eminent engravers who, in 1836, petitioned the House of Commons on the state of engraving , in 1867 he was elected a royal academician.
